How are you powering it?

Steve G3TXQ With a PP3 but now I understand the power up the coax I'll probably go that way with the MK2 version.

 Re: "Wellbroke Loop" MK2
The performance could be quite different at 9v compared to 12v. When I said it would be OK to use a battery, I assumed you would use a 12v battery !

73, Steve G3TXQ I did use a 12v battery at first but with out a blocking capacitor and blew my TS-570 up. I'll give 12v ago tomorrow. Needles to say with only 1 HF set left I didn't want any more accidents hence using a little pp3 and not a 7ah 12v battery.

 Re: "Wellbroke Loop" MK2
I need to look at this project again. From what I can remember I get the same signals from the circuit with the battery connected or disconnected. If I put my oscilloscope across the output what should I to see?

If I put my oscilloscope across the output what should I to see? When you connect the battery I'd expect something like a 20dB to 30dB increase in signal level. I doubt you'll see anything on an oscilloscope - the signals are too small. Steve G3TXQ

 Re: "Wellbroke Loop" MK2
Thanks Steve that explains why I don't see any thing. I'll try and have a look at the circuit tomorrow.
