Does any one else feel that Flex are taking the piss with there pricing for SmartSDR V2.
From what I have seen the big selling point is the new remote control software. Hasn't this been being promised for years?
You can't even have a 30 day trial, $200 take it or leave it !

May be I am just being tight but it seams a little steep to me.

Its one of the reasons I switched from Flex5k to Apache labs Anan100d where the software is opensource as Flex
powersdr used to be I think having used both Smartsdr and Openpowersdr that Smartsdr is more user friendly However the new
Thetis *betta* software is out and an Aplha may soon be on the way backward compaitible to the Anan10 Great work by those
hams who give freely of their time and skills.


I understand that we can not expect unlimited software upgrades for free however 200 for V2 dollars is a bit steep
plus the openHPSDR software is more in the spirit of Ham radio
