Hi trying to work out if my new yagi will fitt on mast to clear roof slants down. At present I have a yagi 3 element up on a 10m mast Longest element is 18.9984. Boom is 8ft 10.693. New antenna is 4 element. Longest element is shorter at 18.6. But boom is longer. 11ft 5. 795. Manual says it is less turning

3 element. Is 10.5.984

4 element 10.2.047

So less but with longer boom will this affect my turn towards roof

assuming that the boom is mounted to stub mast at centre of boom.

Existing antennna TR 126"
New antenna 130.7"

It all depends on the balance point, so mounting may not be at the centre of the boom.

if the manual says it's a smaller turning radius, then it probably is!
