Anyone got a icf file of the repeaters (analogue and digital) for the ic7100
I trird the icom website but it only has the dstar repeaters on it, and im not paying nearly £50 for the software and usb cable for one use
This has to be the icf file so i can drag and drop it in to the sd card

You posted the request for an ICF file on the 9th and your scathing comment about folks that probably could help you but "can't be bothered to help you" on the 10th!
Not everyone that might be able to help you logs in every day, I do as it happens but I can't help you, so hence no reply from myself!
That might apply to many users on here of course, whereas the users on the site that "can help you" might not even have read the request before the second post on the 10th.
Just saying.

I got help from 2 people a few hours later, many people looked at my post, I don’t look at posts that are Irrelevant to me

Maybe, or maybe they only read the thread after the second post?
Did you ask them if your follow up comment 24 hours after the first post had pricked their conscience somehow?

Sometimes patience isn’t a virtue, I didn’t ask them anything to do with pricking their conscience, why would I ask that
I got the file end of story

And you may well have got the ICF file offered to you a few days later than the OP with a bit of patience, who knows?
Patience is always a virtue in my humble opinion, although in this day and age of "I want it, and I want it NOW!", it is fast being forgotten.

I am one of the chaps that send him what files i have, And i had been meaning to do it for a few days
seeing the thread in yellow and reminded me to send them.
Nothing to do with patience the lad has the files he wanted and I have lots of software as well and he is welcome to it
so leave him alone.

But I think you are missing my point, when you ask for a "favour", and then 24 hours later make an accusation that some people who could help simply can't be bothered to help its unlikely to endear you folks that may not even have read the post yet.
Nowt wrong with bumping the request for help if you don't get a reply in the time frame you require, but you can do that by either simply reposting the request as a quote, or just post "Still looking, can anyone help me out, it would be greatly appreciated", you don't have accuse folks of simply "not being bothered to help".
It was only 24 hours later, give folks a chance.

Ok Dave we get your point, no one else was bothered only you

Just a change of tack, ime going to be looking for another radio in the next few months and like the look of the 7100 and also the seperate antenna sockets....what are they actually like.
....any help advice apreciated.

Only I commented, but how many read it, maybe even after the second post, (you said it had loads of reads), and they simply thought "that's a bit impatient and unnecessary to accuse folks of not being bothered to help just 24 hours later."
Plus many that read it might not have been in a position to help you out.
You are sorted now, so its water under the bridge.
But there is a polite way to approach folks for a "favour", and announcing to the boards just 24 hours later that they just seemingly just can't be bothered when they may not even have even read the post yet is not one of them.

But patience is a virtue, you don't have throw a tiz and stamp your foot just cos you don't get an almost instant reply.
