A young woman goes to see the doctor.

"Doctor, I have this terrible rash that won't go away"

"Where is this rash, let's have a look please", replies the doctor.

"It's here on the inside of my legs, and here on the palms of my hands, and it's also on my bottom"

"Oh dear, that looks nasty, not seen this for years, do you keep pet birds?".

"No", she replies, "I only have a pet cat".

"Hmm", muses the doctor, "Very odd, do you feed wild birds, ever have them land on you?"

"No, whatever can it be?" asks the woman, getting concerned.

"Looks like it's caused by a parasite birds carry to me" insists the doctor, "Do you have any other symptoms?"

"Well, recently I have these sores in my mouth, very painful when I eat".

"Ah, let's have a look then...."

"It's as I thought all along, I'll stake my reputation on you having had a cockatoo in there".
