Post Rotator rotator virgin
I havea yaesu 250 rotator

What is the best way to calibrate the controler to the antenna ?

The controller only seems to activate motion 270 degrees on the dial and sometimes when it gets to the determined degree it becomes live again and starts to turn back and forward a few degrees

Thanks for any advice

Assuming there is no fault with the position potentiometer in the rotator itself...

Not sure what controller you're using but on my Kenpro 400 which became the Yaesu G450, you rotate it fully counter clockwise and manually adjust the needle to point to 0. You then wind it fully clockwise and use the potentiometer on the back to rotate the needle to about 10 degrees.
